When budgets are tight, athletic departments and public parks have to get creative. One issue that has to be addressed is how to accommodate different sports and age groups that have to share the same space. Additionally, how does a high school or college prolong practice when the weather outside is anything but baseball friendly? One effective solution is a portable baseball mound from Richardson Athletics.

Reduce the wear and tear of your field’s turf when you use a baseball hitting mat. At Richardson Athletics, we carry many varieties of home plate, batter’s box, and pitcher’s mound mats to protect the integrity of your field.

We have all heard it, “Baseball is as American as apple pie.” Saturday mornings are full of little league players smacking balls across fields, running bases, and sliding into home. Moms and dads cheer them on from the stands. All over the country, cities are lit up by stadium lights as major and minor league players jump incredible heights to catch a ball before it flies over the wall. From the oldest to the youngest, they all have this in common – practice. Richardson Athletics takes perfecting your skills seriously. That’s why we sell the best equipment for baseball and softball players of all ages.

Richardson Athletics understands the space limitations you may face when trying to find room to put a batting cage.  Sure, there are “standard” size batting cage nets available, but whether it’s limitations on height, width, or length, Richardson Athletics can make a custom batting cage specifically for you.

Selecting a quality athletic field paint and equipment is not a decision to take lightly.  You want the participants to see bright, clear straight lines on the ballfield which exudes professionalism.  First impressions are important and when applied correctly to a ballfield, this is a great start!

When you buy new sports equipment, you are investing in your athletes. The last thing you want to do is
to fall for some sales gimmick that leaves you with more questions than answers. Instead, you want to
cut through the hype and know the machine you bought will serve your facility well. At Richardson
Athletics, we understand that. For over 25 years, we continually strive to bring you, our customers, the
best in athletic equipment.

A high-quality athletic field chalk is as essential to the game as the players. Without clean, bright white lines to mark your batter’s boxes or baselines, the game just is not the same. Choosing a high-quality athletic field chalk for your field is an important decision; it is as much about presentation as it is about practicality.

Especially for indoor or smaller athletic facilities and baseball fields, having portable pitching mounds which can be easily deployed, adjusted or put away in very little time is an essential investment. Portable mounds save you and your maintenance team from having to build and maintain permanent mounds which require lots of materials and expertise. But each pitching mound is a little different, and some brands are better for specific needs than others. Be it a mound designed for pros or one specially made for the little league, Richardson Athletics has you covered.

From the very beginning of an athlete’s training all the way through their professional career, a Tanner Tee will be there as an essential tool for refining their mechanics. Made with a signature, hand-rolled rubber batting tee tops and constructed from high-quality materials, this is equipment designed to last for years. It serves to provide the best, most natural batting experience while training.

There are baseball pitching machines and then there is the Hack Attack. If your curiosity was not already captured by the name, its unique three-wheel design and incredible features certainly will. The Hack Attack is Sports Attack’s solution to some of athletes’ biggest grievances with traditional pitching machines. It makes adjustments easier, and hitting, both safer and more natural-feeling. For any athletics facility, this is the crown jewel of equipment which hitters will be fighting to train with.
